Google Adds Themes to Personalized Home Page

Filed under: General — geoff @ 12:04 pm

A couple of months ago, Google posted several job openings for designers. It seems that we’re starting to see the fruits of their labor. Google has added a few themes to their personalized home page. There’s not many there yet, but what is there is fairly nice.

The neatest feature is where you can enter your zip code, and the image in the top banner will change according to time of day (not sure about weather). My theme is tea house. I wonder if they will ever allow us to upload our own themes? Or, perhaps someone will write a Firefox extension that will allow us to change it ourselves.

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.
