Slideroll Partners with Sonific

Filed under: General — geoff @ 12:06 am

I’m pleased to announce Slideroll has partnered with Sonific to provide a whole new world of music to Slideroll members. Now you can add great soundtracks to your slideshows by creating SongSpots that appear below your slideshows and play full-length, high-fidelity music as your slideshow plays.

Here’s an example of a SongSpot playing with a Slideroll slideshow.

This has been the single most requested feature of Slideroll. Everyone wants to be able to upload their iTunes or MP3 music to play along with their slideshows. Obviously, this is not possible due to copyright law. But, the geniuses at Sonific have struck deals with a lot of big record labels to host and syndicate their musical content in this unique and useful way. I’m honored that Slideroll can be among some of the great places that work with Sonific SongSpots.
