The Wii is Wiidiculous!
One of my coworkers brought their Wii in to work, and we played it at lunchtime. What a workout! The thing I love about the Wii is the combination of the physical interaction and the focus on gameplay. Since the Wii has such a unique controller, the games need to focus more on interaction and the quality of gameplay than on pretty effects. I personally like the fact that the games (that I played at least) aren’t gory or overly violent.
The Wii interface is beautifully done. Nice gooey, bubbly graphics with smooth, bouncy effects that play well on TV. I wonder if it is driven by Flash? The Wii can interface with your Wifi network and get information from Teh Internets. It even has an SD card slot so you can browse your photo collection from your camera.
I hear rumors about a Wii web browser, and the ability to play Flash games on it. I can’t wait to start developing for it.
The Wii is truly a revolution in home gaming. It’s great to be able to play an exciting game that exercises the body. I’ve never owned a gaming console, and never really been into gaming because I spend too much time in front of a computer as it is. The simple act of involving your whole body in gameplay is good for the mind and soul. Here’s to a new, healthy home gaming era.

The Wii truly is wicked and as you say the games are gory orientated which makes it a fantastic family system to use
