I am posting the slideshow here with WMODE="transparent" so that the background shows through. This seems to REALLY slow down the slideshow on a mac. Did you view the slideshow on the site itself and see the same slowness? I haven't seen the same slowness on a PC. I'm currently deploying that code with WMODE="transparent" by default.
